2023 Zone Champions

On October 11, 2023, the grade 10-12 cross country runners competed in Zones at Riverbend. It was cold, wet, and windy, but it didn't stop our athletes from running hard and coming away with the title of Zone Champions! The Raiders finished with 176 points. 

The team earned first place finishes in 4 of the categories including: Naomi Schmitt (Jr Girls 4km), Jorgia Hicks (Senior Girls 5km) and Sean Raivio (Senior Boys 6km) and Avery Spelt (Para 2km). 

18 Thurber runners qualified for the Provincial Championships in Trochu on October 21, 2023.
